Depending on whether a feeder of version 2 or 3 is used together with the server, the server will either use a polling based data capturing (for version 2) or an event based data capturing (for version 3). The feeder templat versions are updated to support this extension of the erver-feeder UDS interface, but other feeders need some update to support one of the versions. For more info, see the VISSR documentation.
